The marina where I keep my boat is full of those things...

I consider it a moving obstacle course... paddle boards, kayaks, jetskis, and people who don't know how to sail... all these are available in the the boat basin... and I doubt any sort of instruction is given to the renters of any of this floating gear. I watched a rental sailboat crash into the head of my dock, the next dock over and the bait dock... it was too sad to be funny... the people on board apparently had no idea of how to sail into the wind (close hauled)... they kept just going downwind and right into the docks.

Paddle boards and kayaks are just floating obstacles. And for some reason the people using them seem to wait until the last possible second, and then paddle right into your path.

I motor out at about 1 knot.
