nothing much, just a boat that we can take out on a Thursday or weekend race, have some fun and be reasonably competitive. It would be nice if the boat was capable to head out for a few days but then it opens up more than I want to deal with. Mostly it's leaving the harbor, blowing away the cobwebs and just having fun without much fuss.
Then I think, that fun will cost about $400.00 a month and I don't know if it's worth it. Instead we could charter for 2 weeks in the Grenadines or the South Pacific every year and give the boat back saving maintenance, time and money in the process. Hell, we could go to Italy for a month or 2 a year instead. While we commute cruised (6 months a year) the lifestyle of cruising and maintaining the boat above normal living costs was at least $25,000 a year.
It will sort itself out. First thing is to get our 'Tropical Dance' sold.
