I loose weight on a long passage but only because I'm too ill or tired to make any food.

Exercises aboard... most of the time cruising involves sitting on your butt
I like sailing because I get to sit on my butt.
Hard dinghies can be enjoyable to row
I see Kayaks onboard with some regularly.
I see kayaks under my bow with fear and loathing
The marina where I keep my boat is full of those things...
It gets bad when there's a cluster of them in the channel
Same here near Annapolis
I forget how much boat traffic exists in some harbors.
We have a small kayak that we take cruising
I like that... "speed bumps."
There's a guy here who rents them
We have a similar situation here.
Kayaks Aboard ....
How often do you use them?
Kayaks
Kayaks Aboard ... Usage ...
Power Boater's sit on the Dock and drink, Sailer go out Sailing
Sailors can pound them pretty good,...
That's a concern now that my cruising is over
I have a friend restoring a boat. "The thing I didn't figure in 15 years ago, was getting old"
With a 3 and 6 year-old he's not allowed to be tired
Nor best laid...
thinking of something we can use for club races
As soon as you start considering whether the cost is "worth it..."
I hear ya but ,
Hey, maybe trailer sailor...
13lb rubber coated dumbbell works for me
Walk, walk, walk.....the dog.
I get plenty of exercise
That's pretty much our experience as well.
When we got to Astoria after 30 days at sea......
Same here!
I don't see how you get exercise while on passage.
