Gary, the weather guy for the nets lives in a palapa there. We would stop by and see him. He also holds the BEST 4th of July pot luck & hot dog feed there in El Burro cove. We also found a few nice anchorages, and had one of our alternate "hurricane holes" there. An old timer showed us. It's well protected but only good for 1 or 2 boats (our sized). Also, Bertha's restaurant is there with the best low cost food.

The down side is no real services close by without a bus ride. So you are on your own.
