That was fun to watch. I followed the schooner American Eagle through the main channel and stayed behind as he anchored under sail. Once the hook was down, the crew had a lot of work to do launching small boats for the guests. Here's a group returning from the fishing village in Burnt Coat. They launched a sailing skiff as well. No doubt someone was below working on a wood fired cooking stove. Later, I watched this schooner, the Bowditch come through the very narrow eastern entrance under sail(I believe). I was impressed. He too anchored under sail off our bow. 2012 felt like 1912.
