After a few years of winter island cruising, we'll be moving on to more localized living. Not sure if that means Florida for portions of winter or someplace within the US and without a boat. One of us does not want to do this anymore. I feel very fortunate that we got to play in the islands. Our Lagoon 37 will be passed on to the next dreamer.
While at the doctors today, he asked me about my cancer and told me how lucky I was to be here. I'd said to him that I'm thankful everyday.
I'm glad we got to do the island thing and very thankful.
I read a post a while back about 'the end'. I think Dan Y may have posted it. It struck close to home.
Great memories, lots of reminders.
In the meantime, I'm sailing a remarkable 23' modified Sailmaster.
Live your dream.
