Couple of observations -

First, I don't make any assumptions about what you know or what your practices are.

Secondly, I think a small anchor and rode is a necessary piece of gear to have in you dingy, regardless on how much past performance of you dingy motor is indicative of future reliability. Getting set out to seaight be averted. We have a Forteess "Commando" kit with a small anchor, chain rode, 75' of line, and compact bag.

Finally, having a waterproof VHF to call for help,if you need it

Beyond that , a litre of potable water, would also make sense.
