Also, going to shore on a rocky coast is NO problem! Can't say that with an inflatable.

We cruised full time with an 8 footer on our 27 ft Nor'Sea. We just bought a new one to replace our last, 15 year old, one that was getting tired. I cna set it up with no help from my wife in less time than it takes to inflate a deflatable (yes, we had a test with friends timing us and a few inflatables). And take down is a LOT faster than deflating an inflatable.
