That would have made a neat article for Good Old Boat.
I imagine you could turn the drive direction with a bevel gear, or however they do it with coffee-grinder winches.
But I don't need to distract myself with the WB8. I have a plywood dinghy to finish building, and a WB10 to play with at my in-laws'.
