I grew up in Freeport and spent many a night camping on the southern end of the island with friends in my misspent late teen years. If you haven't been out there in a while you'll be sad to learn that those camping spots have some pricey looking summer homes on them now. A couple are nicely designed late 19th century shingle style cottages but this one is truly hideous. The place we were working on is the little log cabin halfway down the east side that has been there as long as I can remember.
