Glad to see the project coming along. Lewiston Idaho beckons, I think.

I want to make new handrails for the cabin top but would need to take out a mortgage on the house to buy teak. The rails are the classic design but I can unbolt them from inside the boat to bring them to the shop. Do you think the Ipé woud be good? I would want to use 5/4 stock to get the full 1" finished width. How did the cost compare to teak? Did you get it at Crosscut?
