• Where do you sailors mount your radar/CP?
  • Helm
  • Companionway.
  • Single display is tough. Companionway radar.
  • Max, I have a Garmin 3210 Chart Plotter/ Radar
  • Swap your wheel out for a tiller, and tuck it up under the dodger... (grin)

    • Swing out arm in the companionway...
      • Ditto...
        • Wheel locations on some boats look like torture devices.
          • Hell, why not double the fun...?
            • Good name, "photo-op helm".
              • Along with CGI sailing.
              • Are we sailing or entertaining?
                • Same here. We take countless "guests" out for the 3 hour tour
                • Mostly the later. Family, friends,....

  • Get a second bale and have the ability to mount it 2 places.

    • I have the oiginal version of Lowrance Broadband
  • Mine is at the NAV, with repeater/slave at the Helm ...
  • Max, do you have a Westsail 32?
    • I used to SG, now have a Nordic 40, wheel steering
      • Brian W has a Nordic 44.
