I don't have a photo handy... but mine is on a swing out arm that I can either use at the nav station or in the cockpit.
Since I have a tiller, it is easy for me to be right at the companionway when underway.
I can and have also put paper charts right on top of the companionway hatch, with a handheld GPS right there... allows me to take quick glances at all data available while verifying with the old Mark I eyeballs. I've only had to do this with tight turning narrow entrances that are new to me.
The swing out arm results in something similar to what Tom Young shows... but it isn't as classy as a nice board. GRIN
