the doors probably had 5 coats before I added two more. I was concerned with the buildup and loosing the detail on the molding. The doors are exposed to direct sunlight late afternoon for a few hours.

If you want a high performance yawl with a centerboard, you might call Bruce Kirby.

  - Why not a 3rd coat if all / most the prep is done & masking ...
  - Two, and all through.
- I wouldn't think that too kindly in a seaway.
  - I suspect it's pretty quick.
    - You must be kidding.
      - I could be wrong, but if so, the rudder is equal draft.
        
        Rudder design loads.
        Our Carbon Fiber rudder is pretty deep too..
