I suspect it's pretty quick.

We had a phrf racing club for many years, and a Bruce Kirby one off(I think), reputed to be his own boat years ago, at about 23', with a centerboard, used to win more times than I care to remember(and we lowered it's phrf each time). It was especially quick in light air. It wasn't his SJ24 which was also a phrf sleeper in light air and won all kinds of awards.

40 Winks has a fine entry and draws almost 7' with the centerboard down, but it is a 36' dinghy shape aft(must pound a bit). And the spade rudder is deep. In fact, it extends below the stub keel,... which may be why it's in the shop.
