You have it, Steve. I do have a strap as Paul shows, 
In Response To: Tom has roller furling on the boom ()
() but with the roller boom furled main, it can only go over the end when furled. It's a combersome set up but when I install a slab reefed main, the best solution may still be the strap. It's hard to install a good bale set up, on a spruce boom.
