you usually see them in larger boats. The NA (Mark Ellis) really didn't think it would work, and wouldn't draw it that way. But I did it anyway after constructing a full size mockup and quite a bit of custom hardware. It makes for a large lazarette, dinghy occupies the port side and its bow goes up beside the mizzen mast. That leaves the starboard side, which carries 2 full sized mountain bicycles (though I do have to remove the front wheels). If it was a Hunter or a Beneateu, that would have been two addition guest cabins, I suppose. But being able to launch or retrieve the dinghy in 45 seconds has been priceless!
