A tip for clearing snow on deck
In Response To: Unfortunately, I am still in Norfolk, now up to 12 inches of snow predicted overnight.

() I find that a toddler's snow shovel is right-sized for side decks and cockpits, and because they're made of a softer plastic (without a metal ice strip edge) it won't mar your finish.
You can buy them at any well-stocked True Value (or similar) hardware store.
