I have to install jiffy reefing on my boom.
Have the sailmaker add blocks to the sail

In fact, maybe your sailmaker used that hook/tack fitting to eliminate
Yes, that's another improvement, Tom
With your photo and the fittings Max posted, I think I have it!
I think you will find...
Thxs. I can't even get a price from Rig Rite, yet.
I have "floppy rings" as well but I have
That might work, Tom, but ...
Rig Rite has a bunch of tack fittings that would work well
I'm becoming convinced. I have a 5/8"+ horizontal bolt
My suggestions...
Why would you own an old boat just to gob it up with modern looking stuff?
Grin - with you there. All my halyards, and the mainsheet, are 3 strd Dacron
I'd like to replace this Shaefer fiddle block.
for sure on the light- pretty. Ours aren't so classic
Tom, do you have any images of your mainsheet rigging at deck level?
Not a good one but here's how it runs.
Thanks, Tom
yeah, between that, 50 turns for the centerboard, the mizzen, my boat gives you a work out.
Mine's probably longer
50 turns isn't work
LOL! One way to ease your pain...
That's a great idea Jon
That gives me some ideas. Thanks, Jon
I think what you need to do
Are you getting enough ventilation in that shed, Todd?
Paul's system will work; or,
No I don't plan to run them to the cockpit, Steve.
Tom, we don't have hooks
I like the floppy rings plus...
Good idea. Whatever I do, I don't want to fiddle holding something on while I raise the halyard.
