unfortunately, I don't have a simple Start button, but rather an ignition key with various 'steps' to energize the ignition/alarms, then the glow plugs, and finally the starter...
It could be above my pay grade to figure out the wiring diagram to be able to energize the solenoid along with the starter... (grin)
