Couple of follow-ups, if you don't mind:
I still like Hagar's idea of the high amperage shunt... Any downside to that, especially if used in conjunction with the Sterling charger? Or, would that just be totally redundant, and not worth the expense?
Also, I see the Sterling charger requires a connection to the negative on each battery. However, my Link 2000 specifies that no other wires are to be connected to the negatives of each bank. Will the use of the Sterling mess up the monitoring function of the Link 2000? Or, is that caution from Xantrex against other leads to the negatives a bit 'overblown'?
