I went to a local good plumbing store here... 
In Response To: Full size kitchen sink drains... ()
and yeah, took about 1/2 hour, 45 minutes to come up with good parts.
My biggest concern was to avoid the thin PVC or thin chrome plated steel "slipjointed" plumbing stuff typically used for home installations.

- Good to know. I have the large drain basket on my galley sink.

- I had to do this as well. My sink plumbing
- Just need a lathe.
- Marine plumbing is simple.
