I do use salt water in my galley sink, so I do want something that is good 304 SS. (and between you and I... "chrome plated plastic" doesn't belong in ANY sink, anywhere, anytime)
I think I may end up making the icebox smaller, going to the Engal compressor, (a real power saver) and moving the compressor location a bit, which will open up other space under the sink, which will allow me to use a different drain basket, with an ABS tailpiece which has a NPT thread which will allow bronze and reinforced hose connections from above the water line down to the drain seacock.
Oh the tangled web that is woven when we just want to fix "just one little thing..." GRIN What's it called... the shipwright's problem?
Later on, I will build a new freshwater tank... Oh the joy.
