We stay well away from the nav aids.. Saw four boats on radar converging on the Cuckolds, off Boothbay, about an hour ago. Then I heard the horns... We run an automated fog signal religiously, as well as running lights, VHF 13, 16 etc. and fly a reflector but am shocked at the sheer number who do none of the above... Vis today has been 75' to .15 mile.... My brain was cooked by 2:30 so we ducked into Damariscove...
