I like a quiet sail on the fog. () I don't disagree but having been in Guemes Channel on a foggy weekend morning with ferries, tugs, a tanker and 20+ charter boats all coming and going, well, Quiet or Peaceful aren't part of ones vocabulary.....

- Assume no one sees you either on radar or AIS. Go as slowly and quietly as possible.

- Foghorns are tough to figure direction in fog as the sound seems to come from...where?
