I need to switch gears here, I hate when things happen like they did to Jon, I spend way too much time pondering about them and my own future. Pretty tough to admit to yourself that your life is winding down.
The Hunter has the catbird seats on the stern rail that we think we need. The seat bases are made of starboard and are held in place with far fewer screws than I would have used(only 4 per seat). The screws go up through the pushpit rail and screw up into the seat. The problem is the screws fall out. I believe it is because the rail flexes or maybe it flexes because the screws were falling out? In any event is there a product that I can put into the screw holes that would act like Loktite does on metal threads? Or, does anyone have a suggestion that might work better? Thru-bolting does not really look like it would be a good option.
