I have comparable seats that are similarly attached. They don't loosen. Note that mine have a 3rd support point at the front of the seat. I don't know if that helps you or not but it's another data point for you.

Travaco Marine-Tex FlexSet is a flexible epoxy that's supposedly effective on Starboard plastic. You might have luck with it.
