I've got a storm door where the closer is starting to tear loose from the door. One of the screws into the door is starting to pull out. First thought was to through bolt the attachment, but the nut & washer would be on the outside and look crude. I think I'll use a barrel nut on the outside and a machine screw inside - stainless of course. I have half a box of barrel nuts from left over from doing the windows on my Tartan 30, so... Measure for a machine screw and go at it - needed a little project for tomorrow.
