Tanks are integral fiberglass with no wood in the surrounds. Berth is separate plywood surfaced about an inch above the top of the tank. No problems with mold or anything in the cushions that are more than 10 years old.

- Yes. Lid, 2 inch airspace, then berth top. then cushion. No problems
- Could take a bit of water, then just moisture to keep the deterioration going?
