() The berths are right on a fiberglass shelf over storage bins. There are no water tanks below, yet the condensation (I was in there getting some stuff out) was dripping under each berth cushion.
I assume the cool water on the hull meets hot air in the cabin and you've got condensation. If there is no way to move air between the cushion and the fiberglass, it will form on the cushion bottom.

- Yes. Lid, 2 inch airspace, then berth top. then cushion. No problems
- Could take a bit of water, then just moisture to keep the deterioration going?
