If it's a "new" problem, then something is amiss.

Could it be that that you just noticed it?

When you sail with the main sheeted in, you do impose load that moves the head of the mast aft, which adds backstay tension. If you use your main closehauled, does the sag go away or is it reduced dramatically.

Have you tried to tension your backstay?
