We are in the process of checking that and loosening all the rig and retuning it
So far we have the mast straight athwartships and centered.
I am about to go up and look at the spreader ends, and adjust the angle. If the end caps do not grip the wire, properly, I will fix that, then tension the rig.
We used a borrowed Loos gauge to set 15% of breaking strength last time, 4 ears ago
This time will try Selden's suggestion of measuring stretch, and getting 3 mm stretch in 2 metres of wire, since that is equivalent to 15% of breaking strength for 1x19 wire
