We have a friend who sails a lot with jib only (mostly because it is easier than setting main)
He was dismasted in a medium wind and a short sharp chop

We fixed the loose spreader end, reset it to the right angle and tuned the rig today
Hopefully get the main back on and ty a sail within a couple of days
