Dave,
I don't post often but have read many of your posts. Now I realize I met you at the show. My son asked you if he could try the Dutchman system on Sunday and you showed him how to scare women by dropping the sail as they passed by. My son is still talking about it.
West Marine sells a boom brake for $330.00. I have read many great things about it.

- I have a padeye on the boom and I run a line to a cleat...
