Hey Jon,

Not the 400. The one at Annapolis was a stock boat from Hanse. The yellow 430 was set up by Dutchman/van Breems Holland Yachts, complete with the Dutchman sail flaking, sail track, and boom brake. The backstay is a single, with hydraulic adjuster.

Martin van Breems, the guy who invented and owns Dutchman, is a very experienced offshore racer, competing with both Hanses and his J44 in many events including the OSTAR (a really great read!), Rolexes, and Bermuda races. He's a wizard at setting up boats for offshore. He has a real eye for it.
