backed up with a like around the boom. A preventer line runs forward to about the mast on the outboard deck on each side and back to a big cleat at the transom. It has held pretty serious unintentional jibes. Beats a cracked skull and broken gear.

- I have a padeye on the boom and I run a line to a cleat...
