Bruced stopped when their patent ran out.
I still feel the original Bruce is an excellent primary anchor...

Wings help orient the tip downward to initiate penetration
Maybe not talking about the wings but....
It's clear to me the Rocna is just a Spade anchor with a Buegel roll bar......

I don't use a Bruce for that very reason, mudballing and/or the odd rock.
