I am thinking something like a wood slat floor so the thing will pack small.

The only tenders I am familiar with are tiny toy row-able boats... only suitable for the most protected environments, larger center cockpit designs... typically towed by larger boats, and portabotes... the latter which seem quite serviceable , but wierd.

I know Tacoma Sailor swears by his Portabote.

Give me some opinions folks... just thoughts to weigh.
