Are you long range cruising? Are you weekend cruising? You, your wife and a dog??? Generally, bigger is better IMHO. A soft boat is better then a hard one. A hard bottom is better then a soft and lighter is always better. You don't need bow a compartment, double seats or anything else that will fall out.
