I like the idea of a coiled hose that you

can move around to pump things out. Of course the ideal thing to do would be to glass limber holes into every stringer but you need to stop working on your boat sometime. I have a coiled 30 foot hose in my engine room that is hooked up to a fuel filter and pump. The discharge is connected right into the top of my fuel tank. When I need to transfer fuel at sea I just drag the hose to the Jerry jugs instead of the jugs to the fuel tank. You could pretty much do the same with a bilge pump. I use a Water Puppy as a fuel transfer pump but use them as bilge pumps to.
