would certainly install the 3Kv generator. We have a "Seabird" with a Kubato driving it and it was well worth the money. What ever the solar doesn't make during the day the generator puts back in the evening while we are running it to heat the water for showers. We run it for a while the heat the water, run the microwave during dinner and while Denny uses the blow drier on her hair. Not only does it put the amps back but it keeps the wife happy which allows me to stay out cruising long term.
