I have seen a few DuoGen's around. They remind me of the kind of long-shaft outboard used to propel boats in Indonesia and elsewhere. I recall seeing favorable reviews regarding their water generation output. They can be tipped up in the air and a bigger prop attached. Wind generation performance is not as good. In water mode, they can put out about 6 amps (12v) at 5 knots and it goes up exponentially from there. You'd need 15 knots of wind for 6 amps in wind mode.
