The consensus is that most people tire of adjusting their solar panels. I expect to be no different. Yes, too, regarding swinging at anchor. That said, there are occasions when tilting the panel will be worth the bother, at least to adjust for latitude and time of year. If adjustment is easy, it is likely it will happen more. That's just human nature. The main reason I have for looking at the pole mount scheme is to get the panel out of the path of solid water and off the deck. The stern area has the obvious advantage that it is the least likely to be shaded compared with any other location on the boat.
