My arrangement is pretty simple, if not a bit "agricultural"... (grin)

I used the ball-head adjustable mounts made by Magma for their barbecues and fish-cleaning tables, that fit into rod holders that I have mounted on my pushpit... I extend the height a bit with tubing to clear the rail, and make them adjustable to any angle... here's a pic, the height is a bit exaggerated by a wide-angle lens, I usually have them a bit lower, anyway... But with the locking lever on the Magma mount, and simply rotating the pole in the rod holder, I can adjust to any angle in a matter of seconds...

My towing/wind generator is the one from Hamilton-Ferris, I'm extremely happy with it... But, I can understand how some people might be nervous about suspending such a rig overhead - you've got to really configure a bulletproof arrangement for doing so... Once you figure that out, however, it's probably no less safe than putting a wind gen on a pole...

You know, I seem to recall a guy from your neck of the woods who configured an "auto-rotating" solar panel set-up, one that would track the sun continuously - you might want to check in with our old friend, perhaps? (grin, bigtime)
