I saw Ben Ellison (Panbo.com) towing an outboard powered dinghy, with his Torqueedo this weekend.

I was also near a boat that took two to wrestle the outboard onto the stern rail. The weight of the Torqueedo would eliminate that chore.

I see the starting struggle regularly. That's nothing new with outboards, but it seems I'm seeing it more often. This guy was motoring back from Bens boat and his outboard quit half way. Not much sense in rowing an inflatable any distance, if there's a tow nearby. Ben zipped over and towed him to his boat.

He sounds like he loves his toqueedo here on his blog. He has a nice easily pushed hard dinghy. It really pushes his dinghy well, quick acceleration, good speed. The silence is a great feature for everybody in any harbor.

I wonder if some could leave their larger inflatable outboard stored more often, onboard, and use a Torqueedo for most of their dinghy travel?

The propane looks like a good idea Max but I haven't heard from anyone using one and how practical they are. Every one will have different needs for dinghy power.
