They sell these tools by the "suitcase" at a loss so guys will go through lots of batteries(batteries don't last forever, don't we well know). That's where the money is.

I would think all the technology is there already for this trolling/outboard application. I think they're a great idea and will grow in demand.

It seems acceptable power for inflatables has been shrinking over the years and most of us don't need a lot of range for seasonal coastal sailing.
