But Valvtect fuel does have additives that they claim eliminates many or most of the problems of having ethanol in the gasoline. The folks at my yacht club have been using Valvtect fuel and it does seem to be an improvement over traditional gasoline, but I'm not convinced it totally eliminates the ethanol issues. I had problems last year even when using Vavtect fuel.

That said, I do think it's well worth seeking out Valvtect fuel vs traditional gas.

I am either going to go back to a two-stroke or, more likely, go with a Torqeedo electric for next year.
