clear coat would work, but may become brittle and flake off. How about a coating of spray on corrosion prevention? I used a spary on type that leaves a light amber color. I like the color as it lets me know what and where I have sprayed. The items I used it on in 2002 & 3 are still like new!

I spray all my terminal blocks after the connections have been made.
