Just got my new chain plates from Garhauer.

***** WOW *****

I can hardly believe how GREAT they look.

Here is a quick photo. I made sure to get as close as I could to one of the holes to show they rounded the square-ish holes for the carriage bolts. The corners are NOT sharp.

As long as I was doing the refit, I picked up an 8 inch grinder/buffer from Harbor Freight for very low $$. As I was waiting for the chain plates, I did a buff job on the carriage bolt heads and they match very well.

SSSSSOOOooooo..... Now I no longer have boat parts! I have new boat jewelry!

Next a paste wax job on them, and after I finish a couple of other in-process jobs, the install.
