I plan to use Pettit Dolfinite Bedding Compound. And I do not plan to bed the full chain plate. I will use it on the carriage bolts, both outside and inside under the nut & backing plate. The Dolfinite has an unlimited working time and is much easier to clean up after the instal. I will try to cover that in a Youtube video.
